The collaboration combines medical education at AAIMS Jamaica with opportunities for clinical training through Midway Specialty Care Center clinics in the United States, giving eligible students the opportunity to develop their medical knowledge and gain practical clinical experience as they progress toward becoming physicians.
From Guyana to Medical School in Jamaica
For Guyanese students, Jamaica offers the opportunity to pursue medical education within the Caribbean while studying in a diverse environment alongside students with similar goals.
AAIMS offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program designed to combine academic instruction with hands-on clinical education. Students learn from experienced faculty and progress from foundational medical sciences into the clinical phase of their education.
